Að segja sögu í sjónvarpi - uppfærð frétt
Að segja sögu í sjónvarpi er heiti námskeiðs með Torben Schou,sem haldið verður í húsakynnum Blaðamannafélagsins helgina 22.-23. febrúar 2019. Námskeiðið fer fram á ensku. Námskeiðið er ætlað sjónvarpsfréttamönnum, vef-fréttamönnum, klippurum, tökumönnum, upplýsingafulltrúum og ritstjórum. Aðeins er rúm á námskeiðinu fyrir 12 manns. Torben hefur áður haldið námskeið svipuð þessu á Íslandi við gríðarlega góðar undirtektir. Athugið að fyrstu tveir dagarnir eru hugsaðir þeim sem ekki hafa áður verið á námskeiði hjá honum en þriðji dagurinn er hugsaður sem eins konar framhaldsnámskeið.
Hvernig fær myndmálið að njóta sín, og hvernig á að byggja upp sjónræna frétt eða þátt? Torben mun leggja áherslu á það hvað virkar í sjónvarpi og hvað ekki. Hvernig skipuleggur maður sjónvarpsefnið og vinnsluna og hvernig myndir virka og hvernig vinnur maður með hljóð?
Torben Schou er einn af þekktustu sjónvarpsmönnum Danmerkur og býr yfir meira en 20 ára reynslu í fréttavinnslu, íþróttafréttamennsku, þáttagerð og vinnslu skemmtiefnis.

13:00-13:30: Welcome - TV/video appetizers, just a few pictorial appetizers ...lean back and enjoy.
13:30-15:30: Showtime - Together we will see your videos, they will be used as your intro to the course after the motto:

16:00-18:00: The 10 Commandments, now on video/television. Tools in the TV/video-box to make your stories better. You will see plenty of examples of how to use the tools ...!
18:00-18:45: Dinner, a light one…!
18.45-19.00: Exercise, find your favorite picture, best edit, longest shot.

Saturday 23. February
10:00 - 11:00: The third element, A strong overlooked element in a good story. And a super shortcut to tell the image-poor history.
11:00-12:00: Creativity on command. You will have some raw material, and then write your own story. Exercise.
12:00 -12:30: The decision - how was it?
12:30 -13:30: Lunch
13:30-15:30: Torben Schous Laws. The extra advices to get your story to stand out. We review the statutes and tricks that can make a big difference, so viewers remember your feature - above all the others.
15:30 -16:00: Break
16:00-17:00: Rock and Roll and remarks, evaluation and that’s it.
Sunday 24. February
10:00-10:30: Movie time. Ah, relax. Look and listen to the best speak(ers) in the world. The technique is easier to learn, than You think.
10:30-11:30: Speak. Say something. Not everything. Putting words on pictures is important. We look at the tricks to find the best words and create elegant voiceover. Examples with different voices.
11:30-12:30: Exercise. A story with many possibilities. Where to Start. How to end and build in the surprises. I deliver the material, you tell the story. You can talk it over during lunch.
12:30-13:30: Lunch
13:30-14:00: Let’s have a look of how you did it.
14:00-14:15: Break
14:15-15:15: Interview. How do You make sure, that You get the most out of the interview? It’s about making a contract and edit the pieces during the interview. And keep the statements short.
15:15-15:30: Break
15:30-16:45: Lets define all the pieces we need to tell a memorable story. A check-list to the video, that will boost your daily position at your job.
16:45-17:00: Evaluation and goodbye.
